Still fun, but also the writers are still trying too hard.I enjoy the back to basics version of the FF and Warren is the guy to come up with the weird science that this series needs, but this was a four issue story stretched out to six.Too much set up, too many big pictures of not much happening and the action scenes felt almost like... Quite a good we romp helped with having Warren Ellis writing in a scenario which he is comfortable that of space travel and exploration. Fun and cheerful what the fantastic four should be. I think I liked this volume a lot better than 2. As with 2, the title tells you the basic premise of the trade, but what I particularly enjoy abut this and pretty much every volume of this series is how well the characters individually are developed, as well as the way their interpersonal connections change with time.
